Can gays and lesbians become heterosexual?

Absolutely.

Most of the people out there will tell you that it's not possible to go from gay to straight. I am living proof that is possible. And I'm no the only one! There are tens of thousands of post-gay people out there!! In a world where many people accept gays, we are often ignored, but we do exist.

Many researchers agree that gays can change. Dr. Robert Spitzer, an influential gay-rights figure, admits that some people do successfully change their sexual orientation. Likewise, Camille Paglia, a very famous lesbian philosopher, says the following in her books, Vamps and Tramps.

"Is gay identity so fragile that it cannot bear the thought that some people may not wish to be gay? ... Sexuality is highly fluid, and reversals are theoretically possible. ... Helping gays learn how how to function heterosexually, if they wish, is a perfectly worthy aim."

Just as gays and lesbians fight to be acknowledged and respected, so do those who have changed from homosexual and heterosexual. Our stories are many, and we do exist.

Change is very possible.
